Solid Stay Close to Town

secure lock box private locker ski gear laundry facilities
I stayed over the family day weekend so i could easily get to marmot basin, and the location worked well. the room had a good supply of towels. a kettle, coffee maker, fridge, and a secure lock box. That helped me relax. i especially liked the private locker downstairs for ski and snowboard gear. It made things easy. there were also laundry facilities and a microwave available for guest use, very practical after a day on the slopes.
The pool wasn't perfectly clean. I noticed a couple of questionable things floating around, and that was a little off-putting.

The suite was spacious and quiet with a nice outlook. It had a mini-apartment feel. it featured a small dining table, a tv. a frigobar and dishwashing facilities, so i could enjoy light meals in my room. the bed was comfortable!

The pool area has plenty of towels and a decent-sized pool. i also noted a steam room, a sauna, and a hot tub. This made it easy to unwind after activities. its open until 10 pm. This allows guests flexibility.

The on-site restaurant has attentive service. the entrées and the dessert were so delicious. I especially recommend the chocolate cake, that was a treat. the breakfast was quite nice, family reported.

the location is close enough to the center of town and close to the highway for onward travel. it is also a short walk to the restaurants and stores, i found that especially useful. the hotel is located at the edge of town, but it is quiet.

The pool area was not overly busy. I found the wood burning fireplace to be very enjoyable. I appreciated the staff. They were there when I needed them.

I enjoyed the pool after a long day hiking in the mountains. The jacuzzi was great, too. The hotel provides a convenient sink and fridge area in the two bedroom suites for preparing snacks and morning beverages.

The location was good. A short walk to town. i found parking easy and plentiful. i liked having a restaurant on site. The food was decent! the staff was helpful and quick at check-in.
The lack of an elevator was inconvenient. Hauling luggage to the second floor was tiring.
